T.H Tree Services (Essex) offer the following domestic and commercial tree services:

Tree Reductions: This is the removal of around 25-30% of the trees height and spread. The result of a reduction is to allow light into an area, as well as reducing wind resistance and the weight throughout the crown. If a tree has outgrown a particular area, we can bring it back into a suitable size and shape, whilst maintaining a natural and balanced look.

 

Tree Removals: This involves the complete removal of the tree. There are many reasons why trees need to be removed, the main reason being because they are dead, dying or dangerous to the surrounding environment. We can handle all circumstances and are equipped with certified heavy rigging equipment to removal the most stubborn and awkward trees.

 

Crown Lifting: This is the removal of the lowest branches of the tree to give a uniform height from ground level. It also allows extra light to pass through as well providing clearance for traffic and pedestrian pathways.

 

Crown Thinning: Thinning involves the removal of the smaller internal branches within the crown. Similar to lifting, the end result is to allow more light into a given area and reduce wind resistance in the crown.

 

Pollard: Usually performed as a last resort, the entire crown of a tree is removed to leave only the main trunk system. It is common practice along roadsides to pollard trees, but on a domestic level it is more often than not advised to remove a tree and replant rather than pollard.

 

Straight Fell: This is where by a tree is felled in one go. This is only a viable option when there is more than adequate space to perform the service with no risk of damage or injury.

 

Sectional Felling: Opposed to the straight fell, this is the removal of either all or part of the tree by dissecting it into smaller pieces, which are either free felled (if space permits) or lowered by using specialist lowering equipment

 

Dead Wooding: A basic, yet important service, this is the removal of dead branches, which are a natural occurrence with trees. It is vital to carry out dead wooding to prevent any risk of injury or damage when these branches eventually free fall on their own accord.

 

Stump Grinding: This service concerns the removal of dead stumps that can be up to 20inches below ground level.

 

Chipper/Operator hire: £150 includes removal of up to 1 tonne of tree arisings. £100 for upto half a ton of tree arisings. Milage charge beyond 15 miles from Rayleigh Essex.

 

We also offer a planting service for domestic and commercial customers, chipper hire and can supply trees and shrubs at your request. Full hedging and garden maintenance is also completed as standard.
